    Indian Premier League

Post by MrPrez on Mon 9 Apr - 17:59

Its fun to watch, even if it isn't "True Cricket"

Morne Morkel dominating in this - the fact that he's our 3rd best pacer shows just how awesome our bowling line-up is.

AB's reverse pull-thingy past the keeper for 6 has been the highlight for me.

As a huge Chris Gayle fan I chose to support The Challengers. They didn't challenge much yesterday but there are still plenty of games to go so hopefully they can pull something off.

Really enjoying watching Brad Hogg bowl at the moment. I bowl the same stuff he does (left arm wrist spin), and he's the only guy in recent times who has done that on the international stage. When he bowled the googly first ball to the new bat I was saying to my brother how I would have done the same!

But also slightly conflicted as hoping Levi does well for the MI.

Levi is an interesting case - he beat all of Kallis' records at Wynberg (so is something special) but really looks to be a slogging madman with the willow in his hands. He'll be awesome in T20s but I don't know if he'll make it in the longer formats.

How old is Hogg now? Must be in his twilight years by now!

Ah, super innings from Owais here. Royals fell short but, match was pretty enjoyable.
